Always passionate about art, Hilary has been seriously interested in photography since the age of 15. Even though digital equipment has become a necessity since, her first love is still traditional 35mm b+w film .
December 2007 she received her BFA in Studio Arts, and spent 05/06 studying art theory and the French language in Rennes, France. She is currently perusing a MA in American History (Public History), and never ceases to be amazed at the many ways Public History and photography go hand-in-hand.
Hilary is a former Editor-in-Chief of the Tuckaseegee Valley Historical Review
